[Yknot-list] Y-Knot Weekend

Saturday is the first Y-Knot sailing program of the summer and it devoted to
those sailors with a inclination towards racing. We are also trying to get
as many Martin's to the starting line Chowder Cup Race on Sunday as
possible? 

If you are planning to attend as a volunteer or a sailor (and you haven't
already) please notify the camp via email ASAP by sending an email to
(register at yknotsailing.org)

 

Here are some details of what will be a fantastic launch to the 2007 season:


 

Saturday, May 26th 

*         We have a racing clinic at Camp Chingachgook.  We will do a chalk
talk and do some on water race training.

*         At 3pm we will be towing boats over to the Sagamore for Sunday's
race and we'll need some volunteer to help out.

*         The Chowder fest dinner at the Sagamore Saturday night at 6:30pm.
Call the Sagamore at 518-743-6110 and make your reservation TODAY!!! (For
$55.00 per person, you'll be helping to support Y-Knot and you'll have the
best meal of your life.)  

 

Sunday, May 27th

*         We need of Dock Crew volunteers Sunday morning at 8am at the
Sagamore to rig boats and to help sailors into boats.

*         We may need 1 or 2 volunteers on the chase boats Sunday during the
race. (Details Saturday) 

*         We might need a couple of volunteers to getting the boats back to
camp & put away Sunday afternoon.

*         If you want to watch the racing on Sunday, the Morgan (a Cruise
boat operated by the Sagamore) will be going out at 10 to watch the race.
Lunch is included afterwards for $20. To make a reservation 1-800-358-3585.
