[Yknot-list] Pledge Your $upport for Y-Knot

Friends of Y-Knot:

On June 16th I will once again be sailing my boat, "Wizard" in the Ticonderoga
Race <http://www.lake-george.com/tirace/> on Lake George. The event is an
important annual fund raiser in support of YMCA Camp Chingachgook's
Y-Knot<http://www.yknotsailing.otg>sailing program for persons with
disabilities. Founded in 1996, Y-Knot's
mission has been to provide sailing opportunities for everyone, regardless
of physical condition, age, or ability to pay, and at all levels, from
supervised recreational sailing to independent racing competition. Its
membership has grown to include disabled and able-bodied sailors from a wide
geographic area and from all walks of life.

Y-Knot <http://www.yknotsailing.org> depends totally on donations to support
its program operations. I want to raise as much money as I can for the
program this year and I hope you'll want to help me. Here's how to do it. We
will be sailing 50 miles (No matter how long it takes!) to Ticonderoga and
back. I hope you'll make a pledge in any amount you wish per mile sailed. To
make a pledge all you have to do is reply to this email indicating the
amount per mile you want to pledge and the total amount of your donation.
Then send a check for the total amount pledged payable to the "YMCA" to my
attention at the address below.
