  Well Wasn’t this just the most delightful day on Lake George.  Each day of sailing seems to get even better. 
   
  Once again, we had a HUGE enthusiastic group of Volunteers so eager to get the Sailors out there.  Pete scooting in from across the border, BJ hauling the boats wherever he goes.   Kim and friend  Clare from NJ, Trish Mc Cluskey
.getting ready to return to school, John Pieck, who is one of our many all around experts scooted in from Buffalo!!  Kam, J Flanagan.  We had some great new Volunteers Jim and Debbie and Jim & Silvia, who cruised and also went out on the chase boat for protection
.this is just to mention a few. We had our favorite returning friends from Batten kill Residence!!
   
  We had a great lunch served by the superb camp chefs!   GEEZ those cookies are REALLY good!!   Then 
..Off we went.
   We had a few shifting winds that made for an interesting sail. We had some great/shifty volunteers who worked like crazy to rig, swab, clean, sponge, help board and then sail the boats. 
   
  I’ll tell you that Camp staff is just wonderful.  Brian always does a superb job keeping things on an even keel!!!!  We even were graced with some of THEIR parents who did a GREAT job!
   We took out 4 Martins several Rainbows, The Freedom, and the other? Can’t remember the name.
   
   All filled with enthusiastic sailors awaiting/ practicing for the big Y-Knot Regatta    Sept b9-10th.  We had new long distance friends, Tony and family from Floral Park, New York who are summering at Hewlett’s Landing.  Don G returning for the greatest day on the lake.  Capt Steve M took out an exceptionally brilliant group of sailors!
   
  Remember our next sail is  this Friday!!!!!   Sept 1st at 4pm (sunset sail)
   
  That could be a practice session  for our Regatta  September 9th – 10th
  Now that is REALLY Darn Fun!
