1. Review of Minutes
We reviewed and approved previous minutes.
2. Review of Operating Guidelines
- changed mission statement regarding adding members or non-members
- changed budget language to allow changes during year to budget
- changed discretionary spending language for certain officers
Guidelines as amended unanimously approved by motion of Mike.

3. Committee Reports
Membership Committee -
- seek a new membership campaign
- similar to reach out for youth campaign
- use a pledge and call system
- members assigned names/divide up some names
- 125 on current list, 20 paid members last year
- Ron suggests calling as effective. Call first, pledge, then mail.
Regatta Committee
- Spencer reports they made great contacts at Florida Martin Regatta
- we need to find more lifts
- martin class appears to shift to two-person competition with addition of spinnaker class
- greater need to train sailors to be dock ready
Finance Committee
- discussion of fixed camp costs or overhead charge - need to address indirect costs such as insurance, mailings, staff time, boat prep, handling calls, property use, credit card use fee, YMCA dues
- George suggests 15 percent fee or $1,000 charge
- one regatta will reduce costs
- committee will meet and hash out issues
Publicity Committee
- Bill discussed networking with SWSN of US Sailing while at the Martin 16 championships while in Fla.
- established several new contacts
Program Committee
- Steve Mintz resigned as Chair
- Dave McComb developed a fantastic training outline
- committee to meet again
Fund Raising Committee
- Reeve money to be used for dock lifts
- Dave W. and Rebecca to do further research on lifts
